EMS:Shirati is Medbikes's pilot program operating in Shirati KMT Hospital of the Rorya District in Tanzania. We will provide the hospital with 2 medbikes and implement a training program in emergency response for all hospital staff. The hospital will be equipped with an emergency hotline to which people in need will be able to call in and request transportation. A trained hospital driver and nurse will be dispatched from the hospital in a medbike and pick up the patient. The patient will be transported to the hospital in a safer manner and will be able to receive needed care. | Project Location Shirati is a village located by the Southeast corner of Lake Victoria in Northeastern Tanzania.
